I sold my investment property after 7 years of ownership and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t paying too much capital gains tax. I had used the government capital gains tax calculator and thought I would have to pay £5k, but after a brief discussion with Martin, he managed to reduce this to £3k, and took care of the filing deadlines with HMRC.
